“If we are going to heal let it be glorious”

To her peers, McGirt is most known as a world traveler. Throughout McGirt’s extensive world travels, she has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of individuals and families from different cultures, with different backgrounds, as well as from varied age ranges. McGirt believes in incorporating the multicultural experience into practice as it plays such an immense role into one’s overall development and some of the traumas in which many people of color have become exposed to.

Sometimes we just need someone to sit with us in our fast-paced world while providing a listening ear during the noisy chaos of our surrounding environments. Therapy sessions can provide us with this and more. McGirt believes in molding sessions to fit her clients’ needs No matter what obstacles you bring to her office whether you are suffering with anxiety, depression, career transitions, or greif and loss you will be met with non judgment, compassion, & professionalism. McGirt will guide you through to a better place and by understanding what you need internally and teaching you skills to translate your newfound self-knowledge into a positive direction

Sometimes when you’re in a dark place you think you’ve been buried, but actually you’ve been planted.
— Christine Caine

In working with clients, some of the facets McGirt loves to include and embrace are their cultural identity, sense of self, and how it plays a role in their worldview and presenting concerns. McGirt is also able to include her Christian perspective to clients who desire the above. Sometimes we just need someone to sit with us in our fast-paced world while providing a listening ear during the noisy chaos of our surrounding environments.

Therapy sessions can provide us with this and more. McGirt believes in molding sessions to fit her clients’ needs and she hopes you can afford her the honor of taking your journey of change with you.
